Next year VC merged with JLC..
But they never stopped being Vacheron & Constantin,
and the CEO of JLC ,of course fell in love,
what else,with VC and bought it out.
Followed by his son.
Then a short ownership by Sheik Yamani,
and at last by Richemont.
And the substance that company has,
makes me sleep well :-)
I generally refuse offers of board memberships nowadays,
but that could be an exception :-)
Anyhow the old family is out of picture.
difficult to find in modern ones. Maybe its because they age with such grace...
