1940'S VC Found After 20+ Years Hidden Away

Hello again!
To refresh the memory, I reported that we had found a Vintage VC along with many Bearer Bonds
and Stock Certificates(dating 1935-1938) in an old trunk. I have finally been able to offer some pictures.
The Mechanism Production Number is 449017. The Case Production Number is 286008. Movement 458 / 1 B
We have searched every photo galley that we could find and have not been able to find a simular looking watch.
Any Thoughts?

I think that a Lounger (JB?) has a similar watch. It does not have a

specific ref number (VC didn't start systemetically giving reference numbers to its models until the 50s). It has the distinctive fan shaped lugs VC is known for and which later inspired the 240th Anniversary model scan found on the net Is there any special info you are looking for?

Hello and Thank You for the response. Do you think I have a real VC??  I was told this is called or out of the "Art Deco" period.  In regauds to the mechanism, I was also told this might be an early Le Coultre mechanism designed VC?? and what is "Lounger" (LB)
There is nothing indicating your watch in not a genuine VC, the

caliber used was certainly designed by JLC but finished and assembled by VC (JLC and VC had the same shareholders at the time). The VXN on the movement indicates that it was imported for the American market. A Lounger is a member of the Hour Lounge

No, not me, Alex. I do have a Jubilee 240 like the one in the picture but not a vintage pice such as Duffy's. Its quite a lovely watch. I really loike the 2 toned dial. The movement is likely a JLC ebauche finished by VC. Regards, Joseph
