2014 Year of the " Vacheron Constantin " for me !

I have been an avid collector of watches since several years and though I was always intrigued by the case design and superior movement finish of Vacheron Constantin , I had never aquired one till this year, when I got my first " Patrimony" Ref: 81180. With this my facination for VC grew and with great restraint I waited and finaly acquired the " Patrimony Retrograde Day-Date " a few days ago. I feel privelaged to be a part of this forum and woul like to share some pictures with you.

Best,

Indus.

If we do not share a heart, we at least share a similar aesthetic.  Although I started with an Overseas Dual Time, my next watch was a Patrimony Automatic Date (81580).  And indeed, I have had my eye on that Bi Retrograde for some time.  One day, it will be mine.  Mine are white metals, but I still love them in yellow.  Excellent choices, Indus.  Congrats on having a year of Vacheron Constantin.  I hope that 2015 brings you equa prosperity and joy.

Thank you for your appreciation and good wishes Jtodd.  Believe me on my way to the Bi-Retograde there were many temptations, but with great difficulty I have left them on my wish list !

INDUS, welcome to THL!

And now that you've joined THL, you will find out we are both a support group and enablers! angeldevil

Congratulations!!

Two excellent choices, indeed.

The 3rd one would really be the icing on the cake!

As I have said before, buying a Vacheron is a bit like eating peanuts. Once you start you can't stop.

BTW looks like quite a bruise on your forearm.

Regards,

JB

Those are two really exquisite watches.  The Patrimony retrograde was the first VC I ever fell in love with, but it was replaced in my heart by the 1921, which evenutally came home with me.

Judging from all of your photos in this thread, you and I have been captivated by some of the same beautiful watches from VC.  You have had a good year with Vacheron Constantin.  Mine is turing into the Century of Vacheron Constantin.  laugh

Enjoy those beauties.

Robert
