47450 Overseas Dual Time- Blue Dial. My latest dilemma...

Hello All,

I've just stumbled upon this forum, looking for more details over the 47450 Overseas Dual Time- in the limited blue dial. I've been looking for a new watch for a while now and have broken it down to a few options, between a few VC models and one from AP.

Just recently I found this blue dialled beauty, and have just found it at a relatively good price when compared to the market.

I'd love to get a little bit of insight into the watch, any concerns I could face, and any other information you guys might have.

Thanks in advance

JLC 899 caliber (also used by AP in the Royal Oak Dual time). The movement is tried and tested and the OS is now aVC icon so can't really go wrong here IMO

Throw some money in the budget for some additional "strap" options.  The bracelt is a REAL winner - an iconic design, to be sure.  A rubber strap is nice too and the blue one would look amazing with that dial.  Here is mine (not blue) with a bracelet and with a rubber strap.

Grab it while you can. This is last of the line of the current OS collection.

Next year there will be a new OS - but I am guessing also much more expensive.

Also, this is tried and tested JLC movement which also doubly benefits from VC brilliant finishing.

AP still uses this movement in the RO and a dress watch model.

This VC is rarer and the blue dial is lovely.
