other than that everything seems to be perfect!yes
I have a feeling,

that V&C will make a watch for me, sooner, I hope, or later. More for hard men, that can stand water and rough handling, such as sailing, waterskiing and hunting. When I hunt or go out doors, I of course have the best knife in the world. Fällkniven F1. Same as when I will be as elegant as possible, I use a Vacheron&Constantin, preferebly a pocket watch in the waist pocket, with an attached gold chain. Than I'm dressed! Since 1995 all pilots in The Swedish Air Force, has one in their survial equipment. cool It's magic, everyone who need the best knife, should have one! Important, it's not big only full lenght 210 mm and blade 97 mm.http://www.fallkniven.com/en/component/content/article/1 For your pocket, this folding knife, which weights only 22 g, as much as a pack of cigarettes, folded lenght 70 mm and blade lenght 53 mm. Fantastic. Fällkniven is Vacheron&Constantin of knives, believe me! For knives it's not V&C prices but they aren't for free laugh Cheers Doc
Another surprise from Doc - he's a knife expert, too ;-0

Apart from being a very dedicated watch WIS you seem to know quite a bit on a whole range of subjects. You are a very knowledgable man, Mats. But this one took me by surpirse. You are a knife WIS, toowink

Looks as though you had another enjoyable day at sea! Doc - Did you catch any fish or were you simply sailing for the fun? (I'm thinking of Winston's and Pompes supper!!)yes With good wishes Tony
No fish that, or any other day!
08/16/2011 - 09:32
To be honest Tony, in this boat I don't have any fishing gear. I remember once, when my son and I, in another sailboat, on his suggestion, had put out a line. We forgot it, because it was quite windy, and it were just the two of us, but after an hour we happened to look back and we had got a quite big fish on the line. The whole cockpit was full of pieces of fish and blood cool The taste wasn't worth the cleaning job! laugh Cheers Doc
Waow........that's great !

I have wanted to learn how to sail for quite some time, looks like fun and peaceful at the same time. You also have a great looking boat. Always enjoy! Best, Mike
