After a long absence, catching up on all the posts on The Hour Lounge

Time to pick out your Chan (elephant) for a ride in the jungle.
just a quick slide show for Dean (his request) and reminder for Radek. You just must ride an elephant before you leave this planet, it is a feeling like no other.

A nice place to stop for lunch and give your elephant a rest.

Then to the next stop, just a good place to wash your feet and give the elephant a nice bath. Angelina J. took this place over for a few days, just the river, the jungle and no TV or internet, the sound of the water, birds, monkeys and dragon flies was amazing! After a long absence, catching up on all the posts on The Hour Lounge
A finally, a little momento from the nearby silver mine and arts showroom of all local craftsmanship. Maybe an idea for a watch design in one of these pieces? Something interesting for the design group, maybe Mr. Selmoni is inspired by this jungle art?

Just wanted to give the Loungers a little something to think about with Spring in the air, nice break, now back to the serious matters at hand. What suit and watch combination would look best while riding an elephant? The brown shoes are actually the best in this case (for obvious reasons), that means brown belt and brown strap, gives me lots of choices.............
Best to you all,

Is that Thailand? Looks like you had a very interesting time. I guess those elephants would rather carry someone on their back than pull logs, or whatever, all day. As far as a watch is concerned, just make sure its waterproof (or shit-proof) Regards, Joseph
Hi Joseph. Yes, it is Thailand and worth the

trip. I think the brown shoes was a tip off on the watch being dung proof, just poking a little fun. I am still catching up on posts and emails, can't wait to hear more about Basel World! Hope you are enjoying some Spring in the north. Best, Khun Tim

where's the gratuitous wrist shot? :-) - SJX
Hi SJX. I'm afraid that in that climate and getting

on and off the elephants all day, I was wearing a non-V&C watch. The Tag Heuer did a very nice job and was 100M waterproof, so no problems when the elephants decided to romp in the river. I was also wearing a rather interesting rubber strap that had many small breathing holes, good for tropical weather. We can discuss in Vegas, end of May. Best to all, Tim
Look what I found for a jungle picnik! Enjoy
