Again about fake or real

Would you please tell me your opinion if this watch seems to be a fake or not?
Sorry for the bad quality of the picture.

Thank you everyone!

Thanks for replay. Do you know from which original model is the copy?
There is no VC model it resembles.

Its abit of a number of different models, not all VC. It is really and truly fake, Ari! Go to the VC site and look at their collection. You will be amazed. For vintage pieces, the Archives and articles here have lots of examples with photos. Its a good place to learn about VC.

Yes, you are all right and thank you for your help.  I checked it today at Dubail on Rue Rivoli in Paris. I think you will like this picture. This fake watch is at garbish now, where it belongs. Cheers everyone,
the best way to go!

Alex, can't we just erase those fake posts ?

Just a note...
08/26/2012 - 23:36
I don't presume to speak for Alex, and at the risk of sounding like I'm lecturing...I've always thought that one of the roles of this site is to educate people about Vacheron, their history, their philosophy and their watches. Many people who start out looking to by an expensive , and probably the only quality watch they will own, are completely unfamilar with what's real and what's fake. Not everyone can be an instant aficionado. Now its true some people do post fake Vacherons knowing that they are fake, but not everyone does and probably the majority of those that do are just looking for help rather and advice rather than sarcasm. So its important to show what's fake and what's real and to do it in a generous manner. And if I'm being naive, (which I don't think I am)  tant pis! I'm not going to belabour the point since it's so obvious but there is an American expression that seems appropriate: "it is easier to catch a bear with honey than with vinegar." JB
Agree with you Joseph, well said:-)

Succinct message from Joseph...

Joseph, I refer to your 'Just a note' posting.......... I am delighted to endorse the sentiment of Alex concerning the above. Your well chosen words adequately express a concern which we all need to think about from time to time. Thank you for taking the time to voice an opinion on an often misjudged and/or misunderstood set of circumstances. Thank you again. Tony

Thanks JB, that' s a nice message. You people for sure do educate the others like me who do not know a lot about Vacheron Constantin and who from some circumstances own a fake watch.  I am sure that on long terms you will contribute in reducing fake Vacheron Constantin circulation and wearing, which is such a pity. Cheers everyone,
I would have like at least a decent picture of a fake watch

...the whole: blurry picture + fake watch = seemed to me to be.... BTW, Ari, what was the price you paid for this watch ?

I can arrange that! But it's not a Vacheron. I'll post it tonight ) And I promise no blurry pictures :-) Joseph
