Alex, what happens to the exisiting round cased Malte line?

As for 2008, they will make Malte case square and patrimony case round with the addition of the new cushion cased QDI.

What happens to Malte grande date, dual time, chronograph, etc.? Will they resume production or discontinued?

I saw Malte DTR just now in WG and I suddenly had this question in my head. Thanks!

The round Malte case watches are still in production and there's even

a very nice new variation of an existing model that I will unveil in a couple of weeks.

PS: the Malte Grande Date was discontinued  a few years ago.

"...the new Quai de l’Ile line (identified by its cushion shape) will develop alongside Vacheron Constantin’s two main pillars, the Malte (tonneau) and the Patrimony (round)" I naturally thought the present round cased Malte line would be no more produced. That means they will have 2 types of Malte?

the Malte Tonneau and round have been co existing for a

couple of years now. The round models will slowly be phased out but not stoped abruptly.

You're right. Ok thanks Alex. (nt)
