Amazing 3D images of VC's most complicated movement: Cal 2755

I'm talking about the most complicated caliber in current production

Featuring a perpetual calendar, tourbillon and minute repeater, cal 2755 required over three years to create; it is now the most complicated model in the VC catalogue.

The movement is 33.3mm large, and 7.9 thick and beats at a leisurly 18.000 VPH and consists of  602 components.

As a world premiere it also features a centripetal speed-regulator in the striking-mechanism. This device eliminates the noise interference normally experienced with pallet systems (the bzzzzzz you hear when triggering the repeater)

I wonder how long it would take to have a watch with cal 2755 serviced?  Does VC provide loaners for this ultra ne plus type of watch when it comes in for servicing?  Thanks for these great pictures Alex!  BR, Dan

Alex, are these pics available in a larger format. The size of the enlarged view is only 200-300kb. One would need a larger file to use as a backround or screensaver. Thanks, Joseph
My dream is to have this or any other of

Vacheron Constantin's latest movements in the size as the opened pics Think of having one on the desk and be able to look in it, as in on a pocket watch, but even larger and from all angles! Now I only have this one, which is from 1790-1810, during which they called themselves Vacheron Frères. But it's only 34 mm in diameter,  small movements have always been the characteristic of Vacheron! Thanks for fantastic images Doc

suggestion to VC: put this movement in the next QdI, so that the owner can enjoy the stunning view of the top of the movement. As much as I like the dial VC made for it (I prefer the normal version, btw), it doesn't compare with these pics... Thanks Alex for sharing
Any QP would look great in the QdI.....

and I'm hoping that VC will be making one based on its 2400 family of automatic movements someday (someyear) soon. And at least that would be affordable compared to a 2755 based watch. Bill
