a joy to read.

I saw this and glanced through it. Amazing. And for the author who loves

PP - almost worships it - to declare VC the 'winner' of the three is saying something.

I hope to God that VC continues production of the 3300 and Harmony Dual Time in 'regular' Harmony cases.

Really hope so.

Thank you Alex

Very interesting reading

Dato has better polishings

Harmony a better movement but the author prefers the Patek (which it actually looks to me as a renewed Victorin Piguet which is magnificent the same, by the way), I can't agree with the final choice as these two parameters are the most important to me.

Incidentally, I don't think the Dato nor the Harmony have issues in terms of wearability and even if 5170 wears better, this factor cannot simply make the difference compared to technique and overall craftsmanship in which the other two champions are definitely a better choice for me.

Selecting a category like design is pointless as it's subjective but he's the author, his the choice, that's fair.

I must admit I've never tried 5170 pushers (but I touched and felt the watch) but my preference would go to the Dato, immensely more significant than the other two watches, by an historical perspective (but maybe the author was just thinking the new Dato).

Give me a Harmony with a "butter-smooth pusher feel" and a reduced case size and I'll put it to the higher place of the podium.

it was an entertaining article

First, I will keep my original Dato over the current one

two, I have put on the Patek white dial and I would rather have the 5070. But I will take a look at the new 5170 black.  The white dial piece just didn't hit me

Three, when I was in Geneva at the factory, I thought the new monopusher was not smooth enough as compared to the 1142. I loved the movement design aesthetically.  I do not want a rose gold harmony, so I got to wait for another choice with the monopusher.  I also do not like the ratio of size of the pulse scale on the harmony.

Now, the new Cornes de vache hits a home run for me.  And I know those pushers will be smooth as silk.  The ladies piece of the 1142 was incredible  I was hoping th lady on the tour with me was going to buy it on the spot  it looked so good on her wrist

I disagree that the Lemania base is passé    I love it  but I want new also  yes, greedy!  I own three Lemania VC and will never give them up

I got to wait to see another monopusher design from VC.  And if they can engineer it a little smoother.
