What are you wearing, Dean?
08/27/2014 - 18:28

Just curious...

And how do I order one of those mugs with JB's mug on it?  I assume i can order a whole collection with different Loungers on each mug.  Or do you only get these with new watch purchases from the Boutiques?

Nice blue/brown combo!

And I really like the clean look of the time-only model without the arabic numerals...

Cheers,

I'm pleased with the way it turned out as well.  So many possible dial colors with the Gen I OS indecision

How easy or difficult was it to do that?
08/29/2014 - 03:40

Hi Dean,  pretty cool on how you got a strap for a Gen. 1 OS.

Our new Lounger, srvthl, is also looking at adding a strap to his Gen. 1 OS chronograph.

Can you share with us how you did it?

I know the "easiest" way would have been to source an original VC strap for the yellow gold Gen. 1 OS chronometer.  That was a brown leather strap, is that what you have?  (I don't think this strap would fit on the Gen. 1 Chronograph, would it - the lug width is a litte different?)

Or did you have a strap custom made?  I remember others saying that a metal insert/piece would need to be fabricated in order to install a custom strap.

BR, Dan

Excellent, Dean!!

I wouldn't mind one of those mugs myself!

At least the photo didn't have "Property of the Toronto Police Dept." on it (LOL).

Is this were the café table decorated like a baseplate was spotted? (nt)

No.

Different café and a different part of town.
