I'm surprised to see the Malte Anniversary obtain such high votes but the other ones so poorly

Interesting yet surprising. The Fish seems to have

been a favorite on the Lounge from the very begining but I'm surprised to see the other 2 Univers Infinis watches so far back and as for the relut of the Maltes maybe because a tonneau watch is a more difficult design getting used to?
I'm not surprised at all

These were my 2 favorites (the Fish and Malte 100th Anniversary) when I first saw them in the metal. The Fish, as well as the Starfish and the Doves, shows amazing craftsmanship and artwork.  But the colors of the fish make it the only one that I can actually see myself wearing, it looks really sharp with a navy blue or grey suit!  That is what puts it as my preferred of the 3, as it is still a watch and I would want to wear it. The Malte 100th Anniversary didn't do much for me when I first saw a picture of it.  But seeing it in person,  it really gave definition to "less is more".  The cold look of it was quite attractive, but the dial printing really was more lively than the pictures could portray.  It just gave me the impression of cool elegance. I feel the same as you Dan.  I went into NYC boutique and tried on the Shells.  I had a suit one time and short sleeves the second.  The watch is beautiful but the colors more difficult to coordinate.  The fish I tried on in December at the boutique and it was love immediately.  I would wear it alot.  Blue suits are my favorite anyway. The Malte Anniversary is nothing in pictures on line until you see it in person.  I saw it for the first tme at a Watchtime event, and got to put it on.  It looked fantastic with a blue suit. I tried a second time at the boutique. In the end, I just thought the price point was too high.  But obivously not an issue for VC as they are sold out.
