Dear Vacheron Constantin,

Can someone help me with te following?  A friend (55 years) om mine inherit a pocket watch from his grandfather.  It is a complication pocket watch (seconds/time/day/date/month/evening or day).  I am almost 100% sure it is a vacheron constantin, because of the clearly visible vacheron constantin crosses on the face of the watch.  I believe the watch was made early 1900 maybe earlier.  The watch is basicly in a mint condition, because it was placed in a box for the last 70 years.  It is still functioning perfectly, in fact it is keeping better time than my brand new Raymond Weil. The pocket watch is a self winding watch.  The watch has a part on the back side that can clip open, with the following written inside: Acier Baranti Al, 244955.

Can someone please maybe give me some background on the watch, and what it is approximately worth?

My email adres is:

I will email the photo's to someone that is willing to help me.

Best regards,

Ludwig Steinmann

Hi Ludwig, you can post pictures of your watch by clicking on the

We would need to see photos of dial, movement, caseback and inside caseback.
