Alex, I would assume all of these things could be fixed by the restorations group, no? There were so few of this version made, and only one owner all that time.  I for one would love to have had it.  But the anal in me would want a number of the issues fixed. Ths one went for half of the one that was for sale in Paris for so long, although I would love to have had that one too. Joe

modern repeater with the cal 1755 and in platinum! I'm not sure the lugs could be perfectly restored as they are quite thin at the junction with the case

So, I guess in hindsight, that one was a good bargain as well! Bummer about the lug repair, as the high def photo from the catalog made the lug look pretty bad. Thx for th feedback Joe
