1. I did not see it listed in the 1996 catalog, so it likely predates that.
2. I saw reference in another form to someone owning one since 1993.
3. A quick google of the reference number turned up a Christies auction results from 2005.
Good luck in your quest.
I would really like to know the year of manufacture and doesthis watch have a name or is it simply known by its model number?
If I email the movement number, would this provide the year of manufacture?
was part of the Essentielles collection but will need to check
Thank you Alex.
I have googled samples of the Essentielles collection and it does appear to match them :)
The back is screwed on and one screw is very badly damaged so I took the watch today to the VC boutique in London.
Pierre and the onsite watch technician were fantastic and opened the watch and are requesting the date and checking that the movement and case number match with the head office in Switzerland.
I cannot praise their service highly enough and I am so pleased I chose to be part of the VC family :)
