Are the black dial dress watch fans still out there?

I remember a few of our Loungers have lamented at the lack of VC dress watches with black dials.  Besides the Boutique Edition versions, they do seem to be rarely seen.

While staying in during a rainy Sunday, I cracked open the auction catalogs and noticed these three pieces:

With the original lugs that became standard on the old round, Maltes and cal 453:

With a "scientific" dial. This has cal. 454.  I briefly considered this one, but would still rather prefer a cal 1008/BS.

I would love to see some white metal, black dial combinations - like the Moscow Boutique editions, the Tokyo Boutique Dual Time Overseas (to die for), the Pisa Overseas Chrono Edition, the Dubail Malte Chrono (maybe one of my favorites of the bunch)...

Ah, got me dreamin' now, Dan.

VC is what dreams are made of! ;-). (nt)

The perfect combination for those formal affairs.

Combination of pink gold case and black dial is luscious.

And Dan's brother to it.  Funny that you post this, because a definite "grail watch" for me would be it's younger sibling.  I wish I lived in Russia (and were an oligarch, as long as I get to make wshes).

Love this watch

Yes, please
