Proposal: That this poll serves as an expression of interest for Vacheron Constantin to celebrate the 110th Anniversary of the Chronometre Royal and the 10th Anniversary of The Hour Lounge with a subscription scheme to distribute a special THL 10th Anniversary watch available only to Lounge members.
The Chronometre Royal was introduced in Brazil under an entertaining subscription scheme which encouraged thousands of participants and made the Chronometre Royal the best selling watch in V&C history up to then.
For the sake of discussion; a $12,000 final price would lead to monthly rates of $1,000 should the scheme operate for one year. A final value of $24,000 would lead to monthly rates by all participants of $2,000, or $1,000 if the plan were to operate over two years. And so on.
A minimum number of subscriptions would be required to make the watch financially viable for VC. If one was to withdraw after the first deposit, they would lose their funds, which would be retained to the benefit of the scheme and other participants. And so on.
The final price is a retail value, with the Manufacture's cost being somewhat lower. This is how a subscription is possible; VC would not realize high profits, but rather high volume. In complete beneficence, it could even be revenue neutral.
I have many ideas bouncing around in my head to celebrate both of these important occasions, so please forgive me in placing this item before you during the summer doldrums. Reach out to all those you feel may be interested. Please feel free to react with your thoughts and ideas on A) how this scheme could work, and B) what a THL watch could be.
