Aronde 1954 Question

Hello everyone,

I was looking at the VC website and checked the write up on the Aronde 1954.  Having handled a couple of these beauties in the past, I know for a fact that it had a plain solid back - probably because VC did not see it fit to show the round movement from the back of the form case.  However, I noticed in the write up described the watch as having a "see-through sapphire caseback".

I know that the Malte Small Seconds models now have redesigned see-through casebacks to show the cal. 4400AS so I might have just missed out on a similar announcement for the Aronde.  Anyway, if this is true, I would really love to see how the new caseback looks like with the demure cal. 1400AS peeking from inside (unfortunately, there write up only provides images of the front which prompted me to make this inquiry).

I hope someone can shed some light on my inquiry, and I wish owners of the Aronde would share photos and first hand experiences regarding this lovely piece.

Best regards,

Kazumi devil

website. The Aronde has a full back

Thanks, Alex. So, alas, it was too good to be true... :(
