But original is original..... But your posted collection above I will save every (!) picture of in my art deco collection. Thanks brother Alex Doc

Well Alex, I'm simply blown away, etonné, eberlué, stupéfait et ebahi!! This is such an amazing collection. I especially like the 2 bras en l'air -Les Amoureux and Caravelle. Some of the desk clocks are also very beautiful. But overall an exceptionally fine collection of Verger Freres and Vacheron. How long is the exhibition on? Regards, Joseph
Some of them are real work of art...

to be honest, not my cup of tea, but the quality of the work is impressive
Agree with François, amazing craftmanship
11/13/2008 - 12:52
but definitely too much for me, except maybe for Les Mains en l'Air Les Amoureux and La Caravelle.
RAHHHHHHHhhhh Lovely !!!! (nt)

Beautiful examples of Chinoiserie

But I also find the Bras en l'Air Les Amoureux most appealing.  Well, maybe next to the triptych clock.  Ahhhgghhh, I can't make up my mind - they are all fantastic!!
It's very a particular part of VC production,

using a hell of craftmanship (as François said), but I am not familiar enough with this kind of pieces...
