I thought that this box was for the 1912

the box for the 1912 was a replica of the cases from that time, it is

possible that VC used similar looking cases in the 50s.
They did and some which I have seen,

the perpetual calendar seems like a pretty good deal!

I don't care it's from the VC "boring decade" and that the lugs are not the most dashing, the dial is very nice and to get a grand complication for such a price baffles me...
