Back to the chrono/world question.....

I'm like a fool repeating a questiuon....

For 12 years we had this only for racing.

Living 30 km's from a racecourt,

where Ronnie Peterson drove both F3 and F2.....

Back to the chrono/world question.....

It doesn't look so dangerous but over the years it became...

I am lucky that my son don't read this foum,

since he is not a WIS  ( yet )

even though he since two years ago got this donated to him.........

Back to the chrono/world question.....

Back to the chrono/world question.....

I has never, he has never, used it on the racecourt........

And since he don't read this forum I can tell he is 10 times as good driver,

than I am.

Now he is aiming for this

Doc a chronograph fan does not drive the disaster you posted but this
11/17/2007 - 20:26

and wears this

A slight amendment...
11/17/2007 - 22:02

Alex, I would have chosen the following:

1) the car

2) the watch

You got taste !
11/18/2007 - 00:14

The watch I'll take as it is !

Gustav's car is going to be an original 2003

That would even Alex like (?)

The Bentley is right but wrong colour,

it must be a bigger version of my car today.

Both original basically Audis, 4 WD, By Haldex (Swedish Company)

This is my little one, a special ABT DTM version,

and the step for a gentleman at my age is of course,

a bigger one

Of course with that watch !

Get well soon,

but remeber it takes one year before you see the final result!

Your personal Doc

My Personal Doc, you've got great taste too!
11/18/2007 - 13:01

Gotta looooooove the Bentley GT!!!!Great men think alike...

Happy to hear you're getting one, Doc... try to get a special edition for you where they replace the Breitling dials for VC ones

+1 with you Veillotron!! ...
11/20/2007 - 14:29

Classic and sportive look ^^

That car is a disaster!
11/17/2007 - 22:14

Owned and desperately tried to be sold by Ford.

Least I heard was that JLC(!), was a presumable buyer.

One of my patient's, 69 years young, this week told me,

he had bought a brand new Porsche Boxster and loved it.

He is also a MC rider.

He also told me that he had bought one of your cars,

convertible, in Germany for "nothing".

2001 year model.

Alex my dearest friend , it shines through that you don't have a drivers licenece

and don't really cares about cars, just design.

But some of us who had driver licence sine 1966 (!), and we are fast rusting away as the cars,

when you not even was thought of.

Who and a lots of bikes and sports cars, know that the car you think is awful,

and it's perhaps in that colour, I agree, is the ultimate sport car around a track in the world today !!!

I wouldn't buy a German watch but when it comes to cars,

I already has two...

911 GT3 RS.

That's it. Put on my shades and helmet... sorry it was my son

But when it comes to watches,

you are the King

This is my last car,

just a question of delivelery,

and final price negotiations.....

WT (WorldTime)

I wasn't even born in 1966 !! :-) I believe Aston Martin was sold to a

group of Britsh private investors not too long ago.

Love the GT Doc

Never forget the Simplicity
11/18/2007 - 01:23

a true classic :-) (nt)

Nice car and watch but I am just drooling
11/18/2007 - 03:15

Just a side note.

I really admire you guys working and living in the developed countries.  In Malaysia, a fresh law graduate earns approxumately RM2,500-00 (USD760) per month.  After 5 years working experience, he/she will only earn not more than RM6,000-00 (USD1,800).  They can never afford the car posted here but for the watch, they needs 20 years of saving and it will cost them an arm and leg.

The moral of the story is, is Malaysia, you got to stay out of legal practice in order to be able to afford the car and the watch.

That's why I won't forget that I'm a spoiled child
11/18/2007 - 10:59

I hope that your "stay out of legal practice" is not moraly unaceptable... for these toys, it does not worth...

Hey, I don't even have a car!! (nt)

Ditto, and even none of the most beautiful Time Pieces seeing

happy to hear you've got your priorities straight! :-) (nt)
11/18/2007 - 13:06
I'm in good company :-)
11/18/2007 - 14:50

Looks like I'm in good company.    Love the Bentley and the PG Malter chrono though.

Actually, with the price of parking here in Japan, taking the train is the best (and most eco-friendly) way to travel.  Plus, I get good mileage from my VC's and the only parking space needed is my wrist!

Might have to get a Japanese econobox soon though (for when I take my little daughter out of town).

No Porsche for her, but she seems to be happy with her Lightning McQueen!

Nice Disney'car
11/18/2007 - 19:18

and daughter of course

Re: Back to the chrono/world question.....
11/18/2007 - 04:45

Here's one for you Doc... a bit smaller and more comfortable

Now you're talking :-)
11/18/2007 - 12:37

It's real nice,

and really much smaller,

when on the wrist !

Maybe next for doc if VC doesn't do anything fast

Nice, JB. GP is a great but very underrated manufacture (nt)
