Back on my wrist after some time

Jubilee 1755

Thought I was wearing a lingot of gold back in 2005 when I bought it, it looked huge at 40mm!!

Its been back on my wrist after some time and I still love it like the firts day heart

That's a handsome piece.  I like the hands and dial.  Melvin
There is much to love about that watch...

...and the shirt...and the cuff links or "buttons." Could we get a better view of the buttons, please?  :-) I have spent some time looking at posts here and elsewhere about the Jubilee.  I have yet to see one in the metal, but I hope to one day. It is such an impressive piece.  Nice to see it on your wrist, Alex. Best, Robert

A definite keeper! Although compared to other watches with similar or even more complications, I find the Jubilee to be on the thick and heavy side (like myselfcheeky), it gets high marks for detailing on several aspects - from guillochage, movement finishing, to case design and execution, and more!  It definitely has presence! I can't wait for the weather here to cool down so I can start wearing no. 167 in RG.heart Best regards, Kazumidevil (much belated happy birthday, Jefe)

I too thought it was huge at 40 mm back in 2005, and I had to see it in person before committing. Fortunately, the Antiquorum auction roadshow came through NY early that year I knew I had to have one. VC delivered that July. :-) Bill
Looks like it was made for you and that shirt too! Reunited and it

Alex, I'II forgive you for a  poor scan of the cufflinks, although as a result the shirt came out well!yes I'm not surprised the 'J' is the love of your life and has been from day one! It's gorgeous - it took me seven seconds to make up my mind...heart Tony

As you once accurately put it: a milestone timepiece in VC's modern history - a perfect merger between the past/heritage and the current design/craftsmanship marking the unprecedented anniversary of our beloved manufacture ;-)
