Well, back in the hat went the Post-It notes sans Veillotron and my daughter drew again.

When I told her that the winner already had a copy she said " Well, why did he put his name in there in the first place??

Francois, perhaps you would like to discuss it with her in person. She's 22 and quite attractive and may be going to the UK soon... oh never mind. She'd kill me if she saw this!

I digress... anyway she picked another slip, with her eyes closed of course...

and the winner is... Drum role please.....NICO

Congratulations Nico! I hope you don't already have a copy of the book (LOL). Please send me a private message with you shipping info and I'll send the book aussitot que possible.

Best Wishes,

Houra!! :-)

I just logged in after 9 hours of presentations (am at a conference in Colorado - beautiful landscapes by the way, not much time to enjoy them though... yet). I'm kaput from jet lag (well, that's my excuse since I only have 1 hour of jetlag), and was just checking in to see my favourite websites (I checked the HL before checking my work emails, goes to show my real priorities ).

Now I can go and happily enjoy a few drinks!!

And I don't have the book!!

I really thought the contest was great, mostly because I found it quite challenging and fun to do!!

Thanks again JB!! And thank your daughter for her skilfull picking (once for choosing someone who already has the book, and then choosing me!!). Thanks Francois for having the book already!!

Congrats Nico! (nt)

Congrats Nico!

I'm happy in the end you're the one that won the prize, since you were saying that you had never won anything on the HL...

Enjoy the book, it is really nice!

Yeay! Congrats Nico, you came back right in time :-) (nt)

Oh I forgot to mention, she had a big grin and a mischevious look in her eyes when she said it

Just got a mail from Mrs Veillotron (wife not mum) and she says to say

"François you're in a deep mess no need to come home tonight"

"Joseph, your daughter better not cross the Atlantic if she doesn't want to have a member of the Coreone Family  greet her at the airport"

She (Mrs. Veillotron) should be flattered, knowing that she's not the only one with good taste!!

LOL! You guys give me gas...and not the type my car can use! (nt)

LOL! Yes I am in deep trouble...
07/30/2008 - 13:51

...the locks have been changed on my house door and I had to sleep on a bench in the park. But in her infinite generosity, my wife (or a member of the Corleone family) left me a sleeping bag on the door steps...

Alex, Mrs Veillotron asked me to say Thanks!
