Since John showed us scans of his new Overseas with a leather straps...I totally fall in love of this "new" watch!
I can't stop to look at the pics ... and, I think that after 11 years of R&D to know how to adjust a leather strap on the Overseas, we could expect a relly original thing!
...An NO...they just changed the bracelet! LooL (but it's absolutly marvelous!! )
If I well remember, the Overseas case are composed of two distinct parts: the case and two others parts for the lugs.
For me, THE most lovely element of the Overseas is the bracelet! (the case is nice too, but the bracelet has a special charism)!
So why they didn't take this as a starting point?
Just my 2 cents.
What do you prefer dear Loungers?
- in steel: inspired by the actual configuration
- in PG: First variation with Malte cross
- in stell (chrono): Second variation with Malte cross
I tried to make a Malte Cross maillon, but too hard
