A Bit Sad...

This vintage engraved Vacheron watch is very touching, and also a bit sad A Bit Sad....  As best as I can read, this is what is says:

To my beloved, - whose love I value above life - beyond time; in whom I've found all the secrets, and mine; I give my heart and deepest devotion always. Anne
A Bit Sad...

When it was given, the feelings must have been very strong. I wonder what happened to have this beautiful token of love find it's way onto the internet junkyard? A Bit Sad...
i wish my wife would write things like this or even better...

quite moving and sensitive. That's a lot of engraving on a watch. You are lucky to own such a vintage piece. Regards, Matt

Just found the picture while net surfing.  Made me wonder about the story behind the watch...

there's only one bit I'm not sure what is meant: "in whom I've found all the secrets, and mine" Does it mean she's found herself (if so, shouldn't it say "me" instead of "mine"?)and some untold truth in her beloved? Could someone please confirm/ explain to me?
