books about VC

What are the best books (or other resources) about all things VC? The person who sold me my watch was kind enough to give me his copy of WatchTime's special issue on VC. What else is worth getting? Alex's hard drive doesn't count even though it contains a wealth of info since I doubt he'd give it to me.
I would say The Secrets of Vacheron Constantin, the World of VC which

is unfortunately out of print and difficult to find (dates from 1992), you also have the 2 auction catalogues dedicated exclusively to VC both from Antiquorum. The first is the Art of Vacheron Constantin from the 1994 thematic auction which is also extremely difficult to find and one from 2005 The Quarter Millenium of Vacheron Constantin which you can certainly find at Antiquorum.
Thanks! I'll look for them. [nt]

How does The Secrets of VC, 250 Years of History compare?
10/08/2010 - 02:44
Is it similar to Secrets, the World of VC, or is the 1992 book really the one to have?
Oops, are those two separate books?

Are Secrets of VC and The World of VC separate books? I can't find any info on a single book with both phrases in the title.
Never mind... figured it out. [nt]

Hi Jason

I have only read the secrets of Vacheron Constantin and can highly recommend it to anyone interested. Filled with information and tidbits and accompanied by beatiful pictures and illustrations. Martin
Looking forward to it!

Thanks for that feedback, Martin. I'm looking forward to reading that book! I actually decided to indulge myself and get both books that Alex recommended, as well as one of the auction catalogues. All three shipped this week. Can't wait to get them soon!
