Bravo Alex, Dan et tout l'équipe VC!

Finally got home and prepared a few photos.
There are none of the watches however. Many photos of those have already been posted here and much better than I could do. I also tended to forget about my camera when I got my hands on those beauties.
I also wanted to extend a huge “Thank you” to Alex and the entire Vacheron team for a wonderful few days. Everyone was fantastic, gracious and kind. They really made you feel like a VIP! (I won't mention names since I'm certain to miss many, all of whom were extraordinary)
It was the best visit ever. The guillochage experience with Suprachai (I hope I spelled it correctly); and my own design experience with my personal tutor were great.
The watches and the Vacheron exhibit at the show were extraordinary. So many beautiful watches and so little time to appreciate them.
And next year, being VC’s 260 year promises to be even better!
Merci infinement, Vacheron.

Bravo Alex, Dan et tout l'équipe VC!
A personal cake to all on Sunday evening.

Thank you for your excellent photographs, JB. These complement beautifully those taken by Alex, Radek, Doc. AbJ, Dan Shao, JKS, and others. It is wonderful to see some of the people at the event, whom, as others here have pointed out, are in many ways the most important part of this trip. I am really moved that all of you have been so generous in sharing your experiences with those of us who could not attend this year.
Many thanks for your kind words (nt)

how clever and creative I found your cake. That was a tour de force! Many congratulations on that front. Your fellow attendees were indeed a fortunate bunch to have experienced that bit of pastry magic, no doubt.
Thanks Joseph, what a great cake too!!!!

From the photos. She and Jerome showed us the VC manufactory (I guess factory is too crude a term here) and the Maison during my visit to Geneva 2009.

Thanks for the special delivery.  I like cake even more than watches, I think.  heart And this one combined the best of both worlds. I did not realize how height-challenged I am next to Radek.  surprise Best, Robert

I've been 'watching' your cake, Joseph...

Forgive me, but I can't imagine you brought this through Customs. Was it locally sourced? The idea get's 10/10yes... I imagine it tasted as good as it looked. I appreciate your variety of photographs capturing the atmosphere of the visit. Lastly, there's a bottle scotch in it for you if you can let me know which design Alex did. wink... All in all it looks as though this year's SIHH was a smash-hit! Warm regards Tony

Thanks Tony, I had arranged the cake online through a local cakemaker in Geneva. She delivered the cake to the hotel and I brought it to the dinner. It was excellent with a chocolate-raspberry ganache filling! Best, Joseph
It was great fun being in your group Joseph!

I want to thank Alex, Dan, the Hour Club, Vacheron Constantin and Richemont for an excellent and well organized event at VC in Geneva and at the SIHH 2014.  The VC 2014 collection is as usual up to the highest standards in design and quality. It was an opportunity to meet old and make new friends with the interest in fine Horology and Vacheron Constantin. I appreciate your customer care which is the best in the industry, please continue the good work.  Please forward my compliments to your management!
The pleasure was all mine

Alex, and all, I want to add my thanks to those of all others here, as we definitely spent a fantastic time in the heart of Vacheron Constantin, in the heaven of haute horlogerie, and with great people. It is at this level an experience to wear a Vacheron Constantin watch, no less. I was even happier, if possible, to meet old friends, Allen, Paul, Alex, always a pleasure seeing you, and I met new ones. So again thank you Vacheron Constantin for this invitation. Best regards Dje Ps: should I mention we also saw fantastic watches? :-)
