Chronograph heaven: Visit to the VC museum Part 2 1940-1999

Vacheron Constantin is currently holding an exhibition in its Maison in Geneva on the evolution of its chronographs from 1889-1999. It definately is worth the visit to anyone in or near Geneva.

Really like the black dial one. Very elegant! The 1992 perpetual calendar as well (with the cream dial). But I must say that most of those chronos come in yellow gold which I am not fond of.
Extraordinary !

Chronogragh and Lug heaven! Alex, now that you have us all insane

from these fabulous pieces you must reveal your favorite lugs at least!  What is the reasoning behind the Doctor's Chronographs having the flat lugs. Did they look more Doctor like or is it easier to pass a shirt sleeve over the flat lugs? Just a thought after being in rapture from this collection. So many watches, so little time (pun intended). Best to all, Tim
not all doctor's watches had straigh lugs, have a look at this beauty

I love the way the sub-dials writing overlap The lugs are amazing... I just find the pushers a little bit bland... Thanks Alex, Francois
