That's a mouthful...its the reference number quoted in the 1999 Wristwatch Annual catalog.  It has the JLC-sourced workhorse caliber 1126/1 movement with COSC certificate and measures 34mm across and 7.8mm high with a screw-on back.  List back then was $12,900 for yellow gold /$13,900 for white gold. I've always found it a pleasing watch, especially in white gold, with clear hommage elements to the CR family.  They have popped up occasionally at attractive prices.  Two factors distract however; the smallish size and lug with a semi-scroll profile that seems to conflict with its otherwise clean lines.
Thanks a lot Tick Talk!

I thought it was bigger, but the small size is for me a quality as I have small wrist. I have to see it in flesh but that woudl be the most difficult I guess. cheers Francois
On reference numbers

X47G4659 is the reference in the Richemont numbering system. The five digit VC reference number is 47022, which will be more usefull for doing searches on this watch. I had the pleasure of seeing one recently on a collector's wrist. It is very nice, but it does seem small in this day and age. Bill
Thanks Bill
