Chronomètre Royale

Was the vintage CR ever made in white metal? I mostly see them in YG, and on rare occasions in PG. Has anyone ever seen one in PT, WG, or maybe even SS?

White gold yes, platinum rare and steel...

I am aware of only one model from 1976. However all the white metal Chronometre Royal models I have seen were automatics and none with the 1007 and 1008 calibers...

Some examples:

White gold Ref 6694 (scan courtesy of Tick-Talk)

White gold 6694 (but with different lugs - scan courtesy of Victor K)

steel (cal 1096)

The first one, Dean's, is such an amazing watch.

It's hard to produce nicer looking lugs than that...

Thanks Veillotron, I miss it already....

still waiting for word from the factory about what is wrong with the movement and when it can be fixed.  I need a distraction for a few months...maybe another V&C?

Yummy! thanks Alex

These look great. Well, except the last one which I'm not too fond of. Wish I could own one someday.
