In 1960 I had a V & C Chronometer Royal for my 21st Birthday. It cost, new, £450.00p. It's Number 509310. 18ctgold case and integral band. My father who purchased the watch was told that only 250 units were produced and made only available to VIP's, Royality, Heads of States, etc. Can anyone verify this?

I'm a CR fan, but come on, throw us a bone! A few pleasurable moments going through past posts may have given you the idea to POST A PICTURE .

I've never heard of a CR only available to VIPs and not the general public!
