normally this watch was also under embargo until August!! Oh well...

The Chronometre Royal is celebrating this year its 100th anniversary and Vacheron Constantin shall be bringing out a new model housing an new inhouse automatic caliber (of which you will find hereunder the first published element of the movement) bearing the Geneva seal and COSC cerified. The watch should be launched in the last quarter of 2007.

Since the watch is still under embargo I cannot reveal more info than I have but  I'm working on a full article on this so you will have first hand information and photos that you will not find anywhere else , stay tuned....

If these watches are supposed to be under embargo then why do they

appear online?

Cool looking rotor. Looking forward in reading more here on HL.

I don't know why embargo was not respected, maybe they did not

Thanks Alex

Very nice! I believe it also comes with an enamel dial?

I Really like the cut outs in the rotor gives a better view of the movement

This one looks like a runaway success

With regards to the embargo surely this has been lifted when the Ceo expressly talks about it in his interview

Thanks again

TL

Interesting piece .....

since it has been a while that VC has come out with an enamel dial timepiece. It is only fitting that VC has such a piece in its collection. It this a true enamel or a lacqured one?

Though I was not at the recent VC event (post -SIHH) in Malaysia, I gather that this piece was shown to the guests. As the cat is already out of the bag, perhaps VC won't mind if there is bit more news, especially on the forum here?

Thanks Alex.

Hi Dmas, the cat is only half way out of the bag :-) I had to

beg just to be allowed to post a scan of the rotor!!

As you gathered the dial is enamel but there will be more surprises on this watch which have not been disclosed and if I disclose everything now no one will read the article I'm preparing so I'll still save some mystery around this wach

More surprises in stall??
