Chronos.

What the heck is Chronos, asks all English speaking people,

with one mouth.

Chronos is the mother and owner of WatchTime...

But it's in German.

I'm happy to read English, German and , come on, Alex say yes, some French Chronos.

Probably also some basic Swedish Chronos.

Anyhow 80% of the material in Watchtime appears several months before in Chronos,

just read the names on the reporters in Watchtime.

Watchtime got ONE outstanding thing, Joe Thompson Chronos.

Just wanted to show a report about VC and some familiar watches,

and prices in Europe...

The article has no news, but as you can read a test will be made in the next issue,

then I will be back.

Chronos.

Cheers

Doc

Hi Doc,

We have "CHRONOS, Japan Edition" here and IMO it is one of the better watch magazines available in the Japanese market.  Still, since Japanese is not really my native tongue, I much prefer WatchTime and other English language magazines - which, unfortunately, are not readily available here.  I wish I could read German too because I know they are quite good at these technical things.  Oh yes, French too.

I have to admit (with some embarrassment) that during my visit to SIHH and Baselworld last month, I loaded up on all the English reading material I could get my hands on (it was like finding an oasis in the desert!).  The poor flight attendant who tried to lift my magazine-laden carry-on luggage asked me if it was loaded with bricks!!

Anyway, it is nice to see that the magazines are finally coming out with full reports of the novelties.

Ciao!

Kazumi

Looking forward in reading the Quai de l'Ile article in Watch Time as

I promise you that I had forgotten all my German which I read for three yeras in school,

2 hours a week, 30 years ago.

It was definitely my worst subject, but then some years ago I got a Porsche 911,

and bought a repair book in.......................German.

That was the hard way

Now my son and I are aiming on this one for racing....

Just some cash and it's OK

Mein lieblings bleibt Qd'I mit Datum Anzeige in Palladium.

Sorry, that was all I could say while choking on my tongue and drooling over that lovely sexy car!

My wife and I have raced our almost-vintage Mercedes for several years and really enjoy it.  Here we are last year in the Nevada desert.  Bad enough that the left front signal light blew off at 230km/hr but when a bird hit the windshield I nearly crapped my pants

GT3 RS,
05/28/2008 - 14:08

sure is the dream car, but probably it will be "only" a GT3 of the generation before,

and that's as nice, and we will only race with it, as we did withe the last 911 we had

Nice Merc, youi have there,

and I suppose you got some strips that never ends !

Doc

Here, we are getting closer and closer to...
05/28/2008 - 20:24

... 23km/h, and we could use this car, back from a certain past (still enjoying it nonetheless!):

Another touch of charm!

My dear Patrice,

comparing the 2 CV to a GT3 RS, is like  comparing a Timex to this

The old Citroen had it's charm, but would you trust it on the race court

Cheers

Doc

Doc, it wasn't for comparison!
05/28/2008 - 23:48

I would never dare this!

Just an adaptation to our french local environment... LOL

Cheers, and have a good night

Couldn't resist as a former 4L owner :-)
