Another nice article with great closeups of calibre 3500 !

Cheers !

Thanks Vishal. SJX is the best watch journalist in the world and I love

reading his reviews.

I liked this one too.

I have a question for Alex - the movement SJX physically saw - is it a prototype or is it a one of twn for sale timepieces?

the movement was in fact a working prototype but is is being modified, the caliber will keep its

thickness but will be a bit wider

No change in case size, correct? (nt)

AFAIK no change

Thanks. Will the finishing on the final product exceed that of PP, because
04/27/2015 - 14:40

.I believe at this level PP finishing quite high.

At this level, the finishing of
04/27/2015 - 16:53

VC is even higher cheeky

I'm a finish freak so no worries on this front!

Alex, the reason I brought this up is because I know of VC standards too

well; and SJX in his analysis said that upon real close inspection, the VC finishing was a hair's breadth away from its PP equivalent. Then I realised that this movement must be a prototype and not for sale piece.

I know PP finishing at their high-end is superb, but I also know that it will not exceed VC.
