Completely off topic: 'Once in lifetime'

My wife's sister has just gotten married to an Italian guy. They live in Rome and run a cozy little restaurant in the vicinity of the Spanish stairs. Due to the fact that families come from different countries and the guest list included pretty much international societe they decided to get married in Formentera (an isle just off Ibiza). What a great party that was (including the stag party in Ibiza - nothing like 'Hangover' but still so much funyes).

Please enjoy a few snapshots of Karolina's and Clemente's wedding.

Wish I could prolong arrival of that moment for as long as possible. But hey, life goes on and we all have to facilitate to new circumstances.

I love my girls immensely, more than words can say, but one day I will have to let them enjoy their freedom, also the freedom to make their own mistakes. I think we've gotten to the point where they are fuly aware I will always have their back and they feel very comfortable with it.

You are a very beautifull and photogenic family!
08/02/2011 - 10:17
My best wishes to the newly weds. Your suit and shirt are impeccable. Nice RO althought I would prefer your platinum Patrimony Contemporaine. You have to give me ideas about kids watches. My wife saw the pictures and said that your daughters look like angels. She also wants to know details about their dresses.
Thank you, George!
08/02/2011 - 16:27

Thanks for all the nice comments. Out of my entire attire I enjoyed the AP Diver the mostwink, my first ever non-VC watch.

Kids watches, you're safe with flik-flak for quite a whilewink  and the dresses were a quick purchase on Madison Ave, NYC in May. Can try to dig up the details on the retailer if you like.

How is your little flock doing?

Congratulations to the newly weds

Wonderful event in a nice place during holidays.

Your daughters look like 2 angels who enjoyed this special day.

Thanks for sharing here with us.

2 girls grow up! You have a beautiful family Radek and you don't look too shabby either cool

I like your Ibiza summer watch cheeky

What about Daddy???
08/02/2011 - 16:36

Will be broken heart, too. You do not seem to have to face that kind of a problem down the road, Alex. Lucky you! Nah... I wouldn't trade my girls for anything in this world. They're just two precious pumpkins. Still.

Anyway, as your detective eye captured it, I own the AP Diver! My very first non-VC... Funny thing is I bought it last Novemeber in Rome while Karolina was fitting some of those Vera Wang gowns. I just made a swift exit from the hotel where the whole show was taking place and went straight to a Rolex watchmaker who happened to have this one on stock as a trade-in. It was BNIB and cost me half the retail so I couldn't pass up on it. I felt obliged to wear it to the wedding as I felt the watch had some connection to the whole event. Indeed, it's a great summer piece.

Good story !
08/04/2011 - 18:08
And glad ypu have a good excuse for wearing the AP....;-) Great watch, if I may say so here.....ssssst Cheers, Mark
Mark, we're a free forum and I don't think speaking anyone's mind...
08/04/2011 - 18:29

would hurt too much. I find the AP Diver the cleanest of the whole lot of ROOs. All those limited editions are kind of annoying and ridiculous in price. This one doesn't exude the LEs sophistication and just fits my billyes

I know, just kidding....
08/04/2011 - 18:34
And I fully agree with you, also on tha AP. They can be really clean watches but also, imho, terrible mistakes... Best, Mark
These are photographs that capture the moment - perfectly!..

Radek,  They say every picture tells a story....in this case it's been done so convincingly. Karolina and Clemente had a wonderful day in Formentera - one that you will all remember for a very long time. Thank you for allowing us to share a few moments of the happy occasion.

Tony

Thank you for the appreciation, Tony

Lovely family !

May I just say you have such a beautiful family!  Picture perfect!

How wonderful you look all dressed up.  I was delighted to see THAT watch on your wrist.  It looks AWESOME on you!

Thanks for sharing the special day with us, my friend.

Warmest regards,

Family is all I value and cherish the most. Definitely the occasion kept us all in good spirits. It's good to know we exude good energyyes. But most importantly it is good to hear it first hand from friends.

About THE watch... ain't it grand?

Fantastic!! The only thing out of place is...

Very lovely, Radek,

Looks like you had a wonderful time.

Wow, amazing!

I can't believe your daughters are 6 and 9 years old...already. Where did the time go??

They are definitly lovely and look not at all like you, my friend (LOL).

Just kidding. Of course they do! but I'm sure their looks come mainly from their mother smiley

You look pretty good too, in a handsome way.

All the best,

Joseph

Thank you kindly, Joseph!

Hope all is well with you. Any vacation plans on your part?

Hi Radek, actually been traveling so much this year that we are
08/03/2011 - 22:44

going to stay close to home, do some driving in the desert nights and enjoy a little Las Vegas. I might have to do a little watch shopping too!

Have some fun you lucky guy.

Best to all,

Tim

Vegas sounds exciting! Maybe you'll strike some gold there and
08/04/2011 - 13:17

be able to spend it on watches you're afterwink

What's on your radar, anyway???

Vegas is always great for a week, otherwise
08/04/2011 - 20:23

you start to get edgy from all the over stimulation! Nice problem to have, but it is an issue. I am actually very open this trip on watches, have some vintage being held for me, don't want to spoil the surprise. Will let you know what I uncover.

Best to all,

Tim

Stupid me, but the 2 things I noticed immediately are
08/03/2011 - 11:30

1. You are not wearing a VC! laugh Nice ROO diver!

2. What a pretty daughter you have...destined to be a model! haha

Rei, those two things that caught your eye are very dear to me ;-)))
