Crossing the channel with my Overseas

Dear fellow loungers,

I just spent a few days in London with my beloved Overseas, here are a few shots of a nice WE!

Boarding in the Eurostar, the ti Overseas is a perfect match with the train interior colours

Rooms are not bad neither and I even have a nice chair to shoot my VC

Good news is that Big Ben is correctly set, it is fully synchronised with my watch!

It brings back some fond memories from last June. They certainly have fixed up St. Pancreas Station! Regards, Joseph
Looks like a great trip Seb!

It is exciting to see the watches traveling. You did a great job photographing the trip and the watch. What a perfect travel companion that Overseas model is! And, yes, the Sanderson is a nice place to stay in London. Cheers, Robert
Cool watch for a cool city...

Good shots of London. If you were here last weekend, you got lucky my friend  - one of the rare few days of sunshine and warm weather we've had all summer... I agree, the Sanderson is pretty sweet (the Morgan Hotels Group does a really good job with their funky/ ecclectic/ boutique hotels) - and the OS with rubber strap looks is pretty cool...

Seb, I sense more than a fondness between you and the Overseasyes Quite clearly a great travelling companion! Your photographs certainly caught the 'feel good' factor at The Sanderson. It's good to know that your stay in London Town was also enjoyable. Tony

Hi, Thanks for the kind words! The Overseas has indeed a special place in my collection as it is the watch I offered to myself after being admitted in the MBA program I was targeting. I was in London to attend one of our course, so no better companion than the dedicated VC! Seb

Beautiful piece and nice pictures, this may be my next acquistion, I'm just waiting to see the new blue dial one, but I'm pretty sure I'll go with the gray. All the best.

Hi pvilleg, welcome to THL!

Either blue or gray, both are VERY nice!  Looking forward to seeing you here and pictures of your future OS.

You mentioned your next acquisition so I'm sure you have more than one watch,  do you have other VCs that you can share with us?

Best Regards, Dan

P.S.  since your posted under a fairly older thread, many people may not notice it.  So please don't be surprised if you don't see much feedback.  But if you create a new post with pictures of your future VC...that's another story.wink
