So, it will be a self-winding watch ?

Perhaps a new sportwatch...

hmmm...
03/31/2008 - 13:24

Could that be a close up of the rotor of the new Excellence Platine collection?

And this time, again pushing the boundaries, VC has made - and finished - the rotor in the EP way...

The only hint I'll give prior to the unvieling of the watch. This new
03/31/2008 - 13:29

model is not a limited edition.

so it is a new model indeed, regular production, thus...
03/31/2008 - 13:42

new Excellence Platine Collection model excluded...

wow, the temperature is rising (not only outside)

A "sporty" rotor!

New Overseas is coming!

Interesting Alex...very interesting.

Looks like VC will hit BIG this time!!! Please post more...

don't stress!!!

Hey Guys,

Don't be impatient, think like me: in the optimum situation (you like the watch and want to buy it) you have to wait almost until September or October to catch your beauty!!!   So, just relaxxxxx.....and repeat after me: OHMMMMMMM......:-))

Best. kiko.

veeerry intriguing!! nt

Alex...

... you are really "casse pied"

I can't understand the functionnement of this rotor (if it's a rotor)?!

I think I will boycott HL until SIHH LoooL

Re: D -6

Well,

I'll revise my guess.

Its not an Overseas. Alex had mentioned that a new Overseas with an in-house movement was a few years off.

Its not a remake of the Les Historiques Chrono (although I wish it were). VC has there Malte Chrono which is doing well and I don't think they want to compete with themselves on that just yet.

That rotor looks new. The rotors on the the 2450-2475 series were yellow gold. Could this be platinum or titanium?

Perhaps its white gold?

My guess, until the next peak is that it is a new Explorateurs model.

At this rate by the time we get to D1, I should have all the bases covered! LOL

is it rotor??????????????

looks like it......... but cant understand how it will function

Re: D -6

It may not be a rotor in the classical sense of an automatic watch but it may in fact be a rotating plate.

I believe, but I may be mistaken, that the Explorateur watches do have a rotating plate.

Looks like Saturn's rings !

Interesting observation.

Maybe the next Explorateurs has to do with space exploration???

Monday at SIHH cannot come fast enough for all of us...

I think that this piece is alluded to in Alex's superb interview with Christian Selmoni.  Something new and important to the continuing evolution of VC.

It's time of D5!
