You plan to make one teaser like that every day until SIHH?
6 days of torture to be supported?
You are too cruel Alex!!
What could it be?
A new caliber and a new watch?
To my knowledge, the calibers in this configuration (2450/2455/2460/2475 - thanks to the booklet ont the Geneva Seal LOOL) have on the wheel shown below 2 rubies and 2 saws) ... and here we have 4 saws.
Alex ... you are NASTY!!!
Even Elvis said it!
I did't have pay attention on this detail
... a ceramic case?
But on which watch?
If VC introduce ceramic on its collections, to my opinion, it would be on a sport watch ...
...not on Overseas, I am pretty sure because of the amagnetic cage of the Overseas, and on this watch , we have an saphir glass at the back on the watch! (Unless VC make as IWC with its Engineer)
ALEX, TELL US MORE!!!
a new 222, with manufacture movement and ceramic case? I hope!
it does look like it, but I'm not sure if it is just how the light is reflected and it is in steel...
I'm not sure. But pvd or similar is different. And a lot of maison are using ceramic (IWC, Panerai, Jaquet Droz, Rolex for bezel. Then rado, chopard, etc).
Ceramic can be even satinated, not only polished.
With poinçon de Genève!
When I see the new way of signing Vacheron Constantin,
I hope it's a way in the right direction
Perhaps something from a new modern collection...
As usual, Alex, beautiful movement 2450, 2460. Looks like a spectacular case...all up to VC's high standards.
I'm sure the other side is just as fantastic.
There is only one name for that : Psychological torture !
7 days more to discover the other side... that's unbearable
Am I right Alex ?.
You tease, but at least you are giving enough to wet my appetite...
The first time I saw it, i though it might be the new version of the Overseas, in steel and RG...
But then Fred put a doubt in my mind - could VC be cming out with a ceramic case???
I can't wait to se the real thing (only a week to go!!!)
I am not sure taht it's a ceramic case (if Alex help us uhh!?!?! GRRRRR LooL) ... but for a sportive watch why not?
But I can't imagine a sportive watch with a transparent back.... and even less an Overseas because the amagnetic case.
Now I ask for Alex's dismissal, except if he told us a little more about this watch LoL
you're right, the OS does not have a transparent back - I completely forgot about that... however...
Whatever it is, I would be surprised if it was a completely new model - VC did state many times its strategy of "having one case per collection"...
So there is:
1) Patrimony (round)
2) Malte (tonneau)
3) Pillow (to come...)
4) Rectangle (to come...)
5) Overseas (aka "Sporty Spice")
The little we see of the back really looks sporty, so I'm putting my money on a new version of the OS...
Hi again, Alex,
I reread the Christian Selmoni interview and my guess is that is a remake using this VC movement of one of the "Les Historiques" watches, possibly the Chronograph. But its only a guess...
then we will know more and speculate some more ;-)
whatever new VC creation that is I am buying Alex's way of selling it to us. Great idea, Alex! :-)))
I like to think of a completely new VC creation in a sporty/modern department...
I do not think this is a new Overseas...
