For Deniz and for Doc...

Deniz and Doc,

Hopefully the following will make you feel betterFor Deniz and for Doc...:

Sotheby's is hosting a fine watches auction in London, on 19 December. I have received the catalogue and it contains some very impressive watches, but not many VCs - only 3...

However, it would seem that there is one for each of you:

For Deniz - VC Malte Dual Time White Gold

For Deniz and for Doc...

The watch is from 2001, and is sold with Certificate of Origin, chronometer certificate and instructions

Price range: £5,000-7,000 (EUR 7,200-10,100)

For Doc (or all the VC Vintage lovers): circa 1935 VC Rectangular Wristwatch in Yellow Gold

For Deniz and for Doc...

To be honest, I do not know (and neither apparently Sotheby's) what model it is...

However, I can say that it has a nickel lever movement, 15 jewels, bi-metallic compensatoin balance, adjusted to 5 positions. It has a silvered dial with applied Arabic numerals and Breguet hands, 18k YG rectangular case (both case and movement signed), with an 18k gold VC buckle. Lenght 38mm

Price is £3,000-5,000 (EUR 4,350-7,200)

So I hope this makes the both of you happyFor Deniz and for Doc... (and I hope Deniz that you can try and go for this one... you deserve itFor Deniz and for Doc...)

Alex, please delete if inappropriate (and if it is, excuses-moi!)

Pictures have been borrowed from the Sotheby's catalogue...

I'm not Doc but I love the vintage model! (nt)

I love too the vintage model.

You mentioned there will be 3 VC; where is the third one?
