Did 6782 "thunderbird" ever exist in Steel, WG or Platinum?

I am curious.

If a reedition goes one day, this watch in Platinium (and 38mm) would be the perfect classical understated sport watch which is imho the only thing that could miss in VC offer. Did 6782 "thunderbird" ever exist in Steel, WG or Platinum?

Sorry, no!

Unless Alex pulls something out of his vast archives, I can confidently say the T-Bird was only available in yellow gold.  It came in two case styles and several dial variations, but only the one metal.

there are traces in the VC archives that the 6782 was also made in WG but I do not have production numbers!
Oh Alex, please share!
