Did I forget...

to present my wandering tour in Paris.?
I am affraid I did blush

First going through Rue Madame for exe candy and two beautiful Vacheron.
A bad photo of a fantastic Guilloché dial. A lot of different effects through the light, a real pleasure. I more and more get Alex and his love for vintage Guilloche. Very appealing

A piece of art, the mercator.
What an amazing watch... this dial, this beautiful case, extremely classy with wonderful proportions.

So sad I couldn't get it, I went to a friend , had a drink and whined. I couldn't stay like that and not owning a Vacheron.
He felt so sorry for me that  he let me get his devil. This 4073 is now mine ! heart Perfect for my little wrist !

I must say the Mercator hits very hard when tried ! I much appreciate the effects of the "cloisonnements" in gold, only them get the reflects in the light, it is so subtle and elegant ! Vacheron has a huge history with fantastic watch in any style, frome the simplest to the boldest. yes
Congratulations!

That seems like a very productive trip! That 4073 is a lovely, classic and timeless V&C.  And it looks right at home on your wrist.  You are fortunate - not all of us can wear the vintage "V&C" so well. Best, Robert
Thanks Robert !

I have a special diet based on Bonnat Chocolate, wine from France, Italy, Austria and Germany (some german wine should be better known) and lot of coffee. I suppose it gives me this ridiculously small elegant wrist. angel cheers Francois
Very nice, Cisco! Beautiful on your wrist!

Were you in the new shop? He's moved from his former location down the street. When I walked by a few weeks ago he was closed. It looks quite spacious and brighter compared to the previous store.
Thanks Joseph !

The new place is nice, you can see the watchmaker working, but the most interesting remains Mr De Macedo himself, a reseller with so much horological culture is rare, a real pleasure to talk with him.
Congrats on your beautiful watch Francois

I understand, it happened to me already!  Maybe next time.....
Simple, simply beautiful!

Hi Francois, As you know, simple can be the most beautiful. This simple piece is the first that Daisy really wanted on her wrist... it is nothing like what she first said she wanted...but the simple Guilloche just spoke to her and said "this is the one" BR, Dan P.S.  I'm glad you put your name in larger type on your beautiful pictures...I've seen your work on a few websites over here.
