Unbelievable piece of art. Pure greatness!
Seems like somebody showed up in NYC this weekend!
I was in town that day for another reason and was able to drop by the exhibition.
It was good to see Alex and Paul. I was only in for the afternoon and didn't have much time, but it was an interesting show with some exquisite pieces.
I think Phillips will be a real contender soon. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a New York sale within a year's time.
Got to meet Alex at Phillips this weekend and saw a dizzying array of incredible Vacheron Constantin watches--including a one-of-a-kind. I should have tried some on and taken a watch-selfie, but I was afraid if I put one one I'd have made a run for it and be sending this post from Riker's Island.
If any of you get a chance to visit Phillips Auctions in NYC (450 Park Ave), don't pass up the opportunity. Paul Boutros, also of Phillips, is another Vacheron Constantin afficionado and is a deep well of knowledge about not only Vacheron Constantin, and he gave me some good reasons to like Rolex; something I never thought I'd do.
It's beyond my wildest dreams
