It was good to hear M. Guten's remarks, but waht really struck me was the watch on his wrist.  The videographer panned in for a few nice close-ups of the new Malte with subseconds dial, and for the first time seeing this watch "live," I was won over.  It looks awesome on his wrist anyway.  Also after seeing the VC wall clock at the manufacture, I think I need to "find" one of these for my office wall.  wink Thanks, Alex, and welcome back! respo
is there a part II when he reveals the upcoming in-house movement's ..

I, too, like the way the new Malte looks on the wrist. Will this style malte replace the VC older Malte line in the future, somehow I was never attracted to the current tounnau Malte line.
yes the new Malte case will replace the previous case shape

I think that's great,I love the new case, more in line with the historical Vacheron!
Thanks for the post, Alex

I have yet to listen to the video (I don't have earphones at the office), but I agree with the others regarding the new Malte small seconds.  Although I do have some reservations about the new Malte (round cal. & solid caseback, etc.), I must admit that it really looked good on Mr. Guten's wrist.   It would be nice to be able to compare the new Malte with the Historiques Aronde.    Best regards, Kazumi
Marc marches on!....

It's good to hear the brief interview with VC's Marketing Director. I wish him well with his very exciting programme going forward. These 'short' introductions/updatews are to be encouraged in my view. Tony
Doc on a fast visit!

Hi all my friends, I still have a lot of things to do, three smaller consulting business, as before, and now a more engaging project has sailed up at the horizon. One you just can't say no to, at least not Doc, since it's a 'project', and for me it's very, very intersting! I who believed that I should sit back reading, to manage that, I have to be up to two every night! smiley Anyhow I'm still lurking here. Seen the intersting video, but is a bit surprised when Marc is speaking of +20.000 watches per year, three years ago Juan-Carlos said maximum would be 18.000... I think it's dangerous leaving the exclusiveness which V&C has by just being 'small'! Fun is that he reveals that they are opening a boutique at Rue de la Paix 2, next door to V&C's and Verger Frères old boutiuque at No 4, in the 20-30s ! That's from where my 'surprise watch' comes!http://www.thehourlounge.com/index.php?module=Thread&action=view&threadid=46410&id=46554 Cheers Doc
