Does Vacheron Constantin report fraudulent ebay auctions?

As many of us are aware, ebay (or fleabay if you prefer) is often host to many fraudulent ebay auctions for Vacheron Constantin watches, including some abominations that are so ugly it is a wonder that anyone could be confused by them.

Ebay has a VeRO program that allows Copyright, Trademark, and Other Intellectual Property Rights Owners to report violations of their intellectual property to ebay to have auctions removed or deleted.  I notice that one of the requirements to use the VeRO program is that the owner must have an “About Me” page/account, which VC does: http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=vacheron-constantin

I have reported several fake VC auctions to ebay in the past, but I’m not sure that my reports are actually acted upon by ebay.  I would expect, however, that a reported auction through the VeRO process would be taken more seriously.

Does anyone at VC regularly use this process?

Very good point Eric!  I've tried as well to be an internet policeman but am constantly shocked to find that fleabay, and other "reputable" auction sites, allow many fraudulent auctions to continue for someone to be victimized.  It is in the best interests of VC and collector's alike that fakes and frankens are shunned.  I'll join your call for action yes.
The Richemont legal dept is in charge of this (nt)

Then you may want to bring to their attention two new fraudulent ebay auctions for "VACHERON CONSTANTIN HISTORIQUES CHRONOMETRE ROYAL 1907".

It is a shocker but not totally surprising. There are places on this planet, especially in a country with a very large population where the "sun rises" that will make anything to your specs and that includes copying anything. I think the major watch manufacturers are going to have their hands full! Joseph
I have reported obvious fakes as well

I went in and reported this one just now, but the legal department should have an automated system to review every listing that uses the Vacheron name.
They have shut down the auction
