F Piguet movements - are they being withdrawn by Swatch?

I saw the thread about this movement posted back in March and meant to ask then but didn't get round to it. Does anyone know whether non-ETA ebauches will be affected by the new Swatch policy? Or does a company like VC get preferential treatment!
Piguet - which has now changed its name to Manufacture Blancpain -

announced that it would stop supplying brands outside of Blancpain. Currently VC uses a Piguet ebauche in its Overseas chronograph model and Piguet has agreed on continuing supply for some time still... until the VC inhouse chrono comes out
We should start a letter writing campaign

To encourage "Manufacture Blancpain" to deny their precious movements to outsiders immediately!!  This would, I hope, have the consequence of speeding up delivery of our much-desired VC manufacture chronograph calibre.
I'm in :-)!!

A sample letter...

Dear Mr. Swatch: We’ve never met but, as a long-time owner of a Rayville Fifty Fathoms (currently not running unfortunately) I am indignant at the state of affairs with my beloved Blancpain.  I won’t bore you to tears by recounting the numerous gaps in our proud history because we have real cause for celebration.  Soon we will mark the 30th anniversary of our rescue by Frédéric Piguet!  Truly, the celebrations began in 2010 when we evened the score with our acquisition of Piguet, and began a new (again) patrimony under Manufacture Blancpain.  Nevertheless, the DNA is still being diluted by obligations to outside brands.  It is necessary to purge these elements, to eliminate once and for all…sorry, I’m getting carried away in remembrance of the dear Chairman’s words. I implore you to solidify our mythology as a movement manufacture.  We will need all our resources for the foreign onslaught now that La Joux Perret has gone to the dark side.  It's the thin edge of the wedge I tell you!  Better to apply our might to improving Flik Flak and Endura than spread us thin by supporting our Swiss competitors.  Cut them loose, and let the strong survive! Yours in fraternity, Sign Here
ROTFLMAO just brillant :-)

Hiding behind the parapet isn't the answer...

Full marks, Dean, for addressing this contentious issue. Your sample letter is thoughtfully constructed to reflect one's opinions and views. This may, of course, ruffle a few feathers and if it does that may not be a bad thing. Tony
Now that's a good way to start the morning!

Dean,    Absolutely brilliant! Brand dilution, the dear chariman, mythology, foreign onslaught, and Darwinian theory all in one! hmm, I don't think you left anything out ;) Best, Walid
