Alex, I remeber what you said,

just about two years ago. Which firm that would be THE star of watch auction's in the future. You were as always, nearly, right! I hate this word and I already used it on this page before today, but WOW Christie's have risen from, in my eyes a 3rd place just three or four years back to number one, talking quality and choice. Impressing. I know where I will turn to get some help when need selling some VC's Just marvellous What's your opinion about the estimates? I personally think they have generally higher than some others,  but that may depend on that it's only high stuff! Cheers Doc
Doc, I have to disagree with you about those estimates.

I think some of those estimates will turn out to have been low. If those estimates turn out to have been accurate, it seems to me that Vacheron's current pricing policy for new models will be untenable.
Hi, you missunderstood me,

I was speaking generally, more about their auctions in Europe, that I follow closer, OK ? Those actual I have no special objections to. Cheers Doc
Hmmm... I like the starting price range

I wouldn't be surprised to see the actual prices beat the estimated price range, but still... if I had the money, I would go for a RG Jubilee for $12k... For me, the star is really lot 2282, the Platinum skeleton Malte tourbillon - my ALL-TIME favorite skeleton watch Thanks Alex for sharing
let's not forget that there is a 30% buyer fee + applicable VAT on

the winning watch so the final price can end up being steep
Ah yes, I always forget these extras... (nt)
