I'm guessing circa 1970?  Love the strong simplicity of the dial and case designs.  I hope Dan posts another picture of his steel Ref. 7592 with similar dial for comparison.

The ref 4961 is beautiful and so V&C yes.    The world-timer isn't too shabyy either, wink My ref. 7592  that Tick-Talk mentions is this one: Your lugs are curvy vs. mine which are linear (your's is sexier).  The dial also has a brushed metallic look, the hands and markers look similar between the two refs.  While both are white metal, mine is SS. I feel very lucky because the Certificate of Authenticity dates production of my watch as 1978, but it still has the ampersand heart, which was discontinued earlier in the 70s (1972-4?) Being mechanical engineering trained:  what I love the most about this very discreet looking watch is the beautiful marvel that ticks inside: Best Regards, Dan
