I'm curious to know how often you wear vintage to modern with your collection. Bill
Thanks, Bill
08/21/2013 - 01:52
I don't really know. I just pick a watch based on no particular reason. Sometimes I'll pick a vintage and sometimes a recent piece; sometimes a VC and other days something else. They all get a workout except for some  pieces I save for special events or evenings out,  (Mercator, Tribute to the Great Explorers, Malte Tourbillon and Cabinotier Atelier watch) Best, Joseph
its surprising how all fit well on the wrist considering their

different sizez especially compated to the vintage VC
Tanks, Alex

I noticed that to and was a little surprised. But I think the length od the vintage piece draws your eyes to that aspect and makes it look bigger than it actually is. Regards, Joseph
Alex is right (of course!)

They all look good on your wrist.    That vintage one is particularly handsome.  But the WT is killing!  Just stunning.  All best, Robert
Many thanks, Robert!

They are all quite beautiful. I consider myself most fortunate to have them and of course be able to share with everyone here. Warm regards, Joseph
Almost makes you wish you were an Octopus!

The art of Vacheron and its quality render those pieces timeless. Those vintage pieces were once new, but they have remained beautiful and desirable as will the current models. All the best, Joseph
What a trio!

Nicely done.  The WT is awesome heart.

I thought about holding out for the white metal too. But it didn't look likely, so I took the plunge :-) Best, Joseph
JB, all three sit well on your wrist. Congratulations. Could

you share a few details of the third - Vintage VC? Looks very interesting.
Thanks kk

It's a Ref. 35204 from 1978, with a Cal. 1050 movement. I did post some pics of it earlier but not a wrist shot. Best, Joseph
All three are great

The third one for me is the epitome of elegance and really shows the style of Vacheron designs...simplicity and elegance creating a real visual appeal. Best, Joseph

08/21/2013 - 17:25
Amazing..
I think Lange did a great job...
08/22/2013 - 05:49
in the design of the dial in putting all the complexity of the watch and yet maintaining the "Lunar 1" layout. Regards, Joseph
Very nice.....
