I must confess that I am partial to the grey dials but that blue OS is a stunner!
Thanks for sharing.
They didn't have them at the TimeCrafters show; so it's nice to see some on wrists. Now they're saying they'll be available in September in the Boutiques in NYC at least-- we'll see. (I'm betting they'll be available for sale in Asia first.)
I did however get to see one when I asked Christian Selmoni (VC Artistic Director) to show how the reflection ring on him new Overseas chrono he was wearing worked. (Super nice guy.)
Many loungers (including me) are deeply in love with additional SS version.
The new OS is beautiful and the in house movement is nice to hear and know, however. In some threads I have seen in oher places about the big date I guess I have to add my own feelings. I love my OS Big Date. In fact it is the reason I bought the watch. I have been adding to my collection of 67 watches with only Big Date versions. Why, well simply put I can read the date. As I have gotten older the ability to see a date on a watch has become less and less. In fact I am thinking of dumping my rolex as that bubble date window just doesn;t cut it. Hence I am a little sad and also surprised to learn of VC's plans to eliminate the big date. The OS and many similar watches as we all know are cerntainly not inexpensive, and I suspect that most of us buy these and similar watches are what we might call older, and therefore with more disposable income and able to by the watches we all love. I hope that one day the folks at VC will reconsider eliminating the Big Date and bring it back. However, I am glad I got mine with the big date before the option was gone.
Hi ssadove, I understand what you mean about the big date. It was a big attraction for me ad well when I got my Gen 1 OS chronograph.
And for the same reason about legibility as my eyes age...I tend to like watches with no date, problem solved!
Best Regards, Dan
