Please do not use this photo on other sites, what goes on in The Lounge stays in the Lounge Following Liger's Mercator post: I present the never seen Enzo!

This was a special request from Jean Todd the then director of Ferrari F1 racing and loving the Mercator he wanted a special enamel dial representing the front of the Enzo.

The car:

Enzo Ferrari

The watch
Mercator Enzo

OMG!!! Might not be the most beautiful Mercator ever, but it is COOL!

I think that piece is beautiful.  It also demonstrates the versatility of the Mercator design that it can be very traditional or totally modern.  Its very refreshing and re-frames my view of VC custom orders.  Can you tell us more about the it a photo?  How was it done?
the dial is in enamel nt

Incredible detail

I keep examining the detail of that tiny dial and am more amazed every time.  Its my screensaver at the moment.  Jean Todt is now president of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), following the dynasty of Jean-Marie Balestre.  Its wonderful to learn about this side of the man after following F1 and Ferrari over the years
Congratulations to the VC team

who realized this customisation. Jean Todt should be proud to own this Mercator ;-))) For all special orders, VC put his knowledge at a very high level  A modern approach, great even if not my personal taste. Thanks to Vincent and Alexandre to share this picture. Cheers, Liger
Wow, that is incredible enamel work. Amazing! (nt)

which is alighn with the contemporary look. the mercator concept bodes well as a commemorative as well as a contemporary model.  out of curiousity was the watch designed in 2003 or delivered in 2003? in other words, how long does it take for production and how much will it cost for such atelier service?
it was designed in 2003 and probably delivered soon after, the time

to make the dial. At the time (in 2003) VC only accepted special orders from very special clients, today there is a bespoke department and lenght and price will depend on what you want (just a dial change or a whole new movement)
Wondering which was more expensive?
